Father Ashley Family Wellness Program now open to ALL

Kristine Hitchens, LCSW-C, ABD, Director of Ashley Family Wellness and Children's Programs stated: "For years we had requests by families who wanted to attend our program but didn't have a loved-one enrolled as an inpatient in our facility. We are thrilled that we are now able to offer participation to anyone who wants to learn more about alcoholism and drug addiction and how it affects the family and the addict. Whether a family has a loved one in treatment at another facility, or outpatient center, or their loved-one has not yet sought treatment, our educational and counseling program can help the family get the support, education, and help they need to chart a path forward toward a better live where addiction isn't controlling their lives."

The Father Martin's Ashley Family Wellness Program is held every weekend, Friday-Sunday, on the Ashley campus in Havre de Grace. Participants learn and interact with specially trained counselors who are versed in the issues of addiction and family dynamics. The program includes lunch on campus each day, as well as all course materials.
